Based in Indiana and operating one of the largest sheet metal facilities in the country, we proudly serve commercial, industrial, and specialty markets with unmatched expertise. Where we work

Traveling Capacity and Experience

Our manufacturing shop and headquarters is located in Greenwood, IN. However, we have worked in a variety of states under different capacities. Including, fabricate and deliver only and fabricate and install. Below are the current states we can work in.

  • Indiana

    Headquartered in Indiana, we work anywhere in the state completing fabrication and installation as well as fabricate and deliver. In Indiana we have worked in every market from K-12 and higher education to pharmaceutical and battery plants. Our deep bench of resources in our home state has allowed us to serve many clients in a variety of capacities.

  • Kentucky

    With an office located in Louisville, our team has a prominent presence in Kentucky and is actively working in Louisville and with the capacity to work across the state.

     

  • Ohio

    Working primarily between Dayton, Columbus and their surrounding areas, Poynter has built strong ties and relationships in the Ohio area.

  • Tennessee

    Our team has worked on a variety of projects in Tennessee, including fabricate and deliver for our specialty team and having full project teams on-site for duct installation. Our team has worked across the state from Greeneville to Spring Hill.

  • Illinois

    Our team has worked in Illinois from Decatur to Chicago in both a fabricate and delivery and fabricate and install capacity. Our team completed specialty projects and commercial ventilation projects in this area.

  • North Carolina

    Our team has travelled to North Carolina to further relationships with our clients in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Texas

    Our team has worked in Texas since 2019, primarily in the automotive market. With established roots and teams in this area, we have the capacity to serve this region and the experience fabricating from Greenwood, IN to Texas.

  • Alabama

    Our team has extensive experience working in Alabama on multiple automotive plants. We have established teams and best practices for serving this area.

  • Georgia

    Poynter has worked extensively on a food manufacturing plant in Georgia. Providing both fabricate and deliver and full fabricate and install projects.

  • Kansas

    Our team has provided fabricate and deliver services to clients in this area.

    Opens office in Kentucky

  • 2021

    Poynter is awarded their first mega project, allowing them to enter into the EV market.

  • 2024

    Poynter partners with the Indiana Latinas Welding Guild to fabricate a replica of the Eiffel Tower.

  • 2025

    Poynter opens new shop in Indianapolis for specialty and architectural metal division.
